  • Headache

    Pain Relievers

    Paracetamol is an analgesic that is thought to inhibit a pain-transmitting enzyme produced in the brain.

    Paracetamol works to relieve headaches and other body aches and pains. Paracetamol also helps reduce fever.

    Codeine Phosphate is a strong pain reliever from the morphine family. Codeine works by altering the way that pain is received by pain receptors in the brain and spinal cord.

    Codeine works to relieve headaches and body aches and pain.

  • Dry cough

    Cough Suppressant

    Dextromethorphan is used for the relief of a dry cough. It works by suppressing the cough reflex.

  • Sneezing and watery eyes

    Antihistamine

    Chlorpheniramine Maleate is a sedating antihistamine. It is used for the relief of a runny nose and watery eyes. As it is a sedating antihistamine, it also aids rest.

  • Blocked nose

    Decongestants

    Pseudoephedrine helps to relieve blocked and runny noses. Medicines containing Pseudoephedrine are found behind the counter and your pharmacist will advise you if these medicines are right for you.

    Phenylephrine helps to relieve blocked and runny noses. Medicines containing Phenylephrine can be found in front of the counter and may be self selected by the consumer.
